AMANDA BRIDGES holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from Western Kentucky University, where her main emphasis of study was the human figure. Her current work centers around strong feminine imagery. She explores this concept thru weaving, clay, charcoal and block printing.

Amanda is a former juried member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. She is a current member of the Handweavers Guild of America, the Spinning & Weaving Association, the American Tapestry Alliance, Gateway Regional Arts Center and the Lexington Fiber Guild.
